Today marks 37 years since Jimi Hendrix walked among us. Words seem futile, so here's one of my favorite Hendrix clips, from the excellent 1973 documentary, Jimi Hendrix.

Danny Whitten (guitarist for Neil Young's backing band Crazy Horse) - died November 18,1972 from a heroin overdose. After his death, all his belongings (consisting of clothes and a gold record) could fit in a cardboard box
